2008 Camp Information is here!!! Kids, that means it’s time to get away from your parents for a week and have great time learning about God. The camp is held at Camp Bob White in Knob Noster State Park. There are various dates according to ages, so check out the info in the gathering area!
Heartland is in need of 1-2 volunteers to spend time at camp as staff/counselors. There are five different sessions, so any help would be appreciated. This would be ideal for older youth. Applications are in the gathering area.
The West Central Baptist Association is in need of helpers to assist in the kitchen at Camp with cooking, serving the meals and with clean up. The times help is needed are: Mondays (July 7, 14, & 21), 3:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m.; Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays (July 8-10, 15-17, & 22-24) 9 a.m. to 2 p.m., and 4 p.m. until the evening meal is over. There will be a New Members Class coming up in the near future. Those who are interested in attending should specify on the tear off portion of the bulletin and place it in the offering plate. The class will immediately following services with lunch and child care provided (if needed). Greg Colliver will lead the class and contact those interested with the date. NURSERY ASSITANCE NEEDED:
There will be a need for some assistance in the nursery during the Sunday School hour towards the middle of May. If you are interested in assisting Kathy Colliver, please see her.
The Nursery Ministry is in need of VOLUNTEERS to work on Sunday mornings and Wednesday evenings. If you would be interested in helping out in this area, please contact Angie Bolton at (660) 563 – 3958 OR (660) 441 – 5209 We provide a 3 month volunteer rotation, each worker serving once every 3 months. register as a new volunteer, fill out the insurance waiver, print it out and then turn it in to Samantha Park. On the same page, there is a place for groups. After registering as an individual, you can sign up under the group ID “heartlandyouth”, password “heartland”. You must be at least 16 years old AND registered to participate. The Youth welcome any able bodied person to join them. Habitat looks for volunteers EVERY Saturday, so even when the Youth are not working, you may still volunteer. Stay tuned for details which Saturday the Youth will work…

Baby dedications at Heartland are simply stating your commitment to raise them in a Godly home and the church stating their commitment to support you as parents.
